Clore Shalom School

Welcome

Welcome to Clore Shalom School

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our School Website. I hope that this gives you an understanding of our ethos, values, curriculum and provision at Clore Shalom School.

We are a warm, nurturing school where we value all children as people.  We pride ourselves on our family and community atmosphere and we place great value on getting to know our children and families well.  We believe that collaboration is the key to successful working. We have a dynamic staff team who are committed to providing a consistently high standard of learning and teaching, where we recognise, appreciate and celebrate every member of our school community.

We encourage pupils to enjoy the challenge of learning, through a broad, balanced and varied curriculum, enabling them to develop their individual potential in a secure, caring environment. Reading is the heart of our curriculum and our primary commitment to our children is that they will leave Clore Shalom as proficient, dynamic readers who see the great value of books in their lives. We have the highest expectations of all pupils in every area of the school life and have clear behaviour guidelines to enable them to make the right behaviour choices.  We have a strong ethos of equality of opportunities for everyone, to underpin all our policies and practices.

Our pupils are happy, confident, learners, who respond well to the inclusive community feel of our school, yet strive to achieve high standards in every aspect of the curriculum. They love learning about Jewish culture and their heritage and are valued in their own way of how they practise their own Judaism within their own families.

We see our children as future citizens and this is key to our curriculum aims, our code of conduct, our enrichment programme and our personal development programme.  We see the education they will receive at Clore Shalom as the first stage in a process that empowers our future democracy.

We hope you enjoy looking at our website, if you would like a paper copy of anything that is on here, please contact the school office.
